There's a lot of characters that can claim they are partly self-insert, but there's only one Aaron - being just an alternative spelling of my own name, it's easy to see what I was aiming for when I first drew Aaron. Not sure about the hair... I works in 3D space fine enough, though my original idea with him was to be based off an owl, I struggle to see it nowdays, which is why he has a companion 'FEATHER-BOT', and yep, it is an owl.
